Range Of Motion When Lifting Is Important

When lifting and weight training, it is very important to keep a correct form and use an appropriate range of motion. To see the best results and improvements, it is best to extend yourself to a full range of motion. This is the range your muscle travels while doing a specific exercise. The larger the range of motion you use, the more muscle fibers become stimulated and working. For example when you are doing bicep curls, the further you extend your arm out, the more muscles in your biceps will be stimulated. Although, there are certain muscles that have different peak point of stimulation. Certain muscle groups require more stimulation than others in order for them to grow. So you must isolate those areas specifically by doing a partial range of motion.
