How Much Protein Should I Take
Protein needs to be included into your daily meals and even your snacks. The best meat to eat includes chicken, turkey, and beef. Other things suchs as eggs and various dairy products are also a healthy way to build muscle. To increase muscle-building, you'll need to consume a minimum of 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight per day. To calculate how much protein is needed throughout your day, you'll divide the number of meals per day by the total amount of protein necessary. For example, a person that weighs 180 pounds should in take 180 grams of protein or more. If they eat five meals per day, divide the 180 by 5 and it shows you should have 35-40 grams of protein per meal. It is best to have a variety of meat and dairy in your everyday meals. By eating different meats and dairy items, you will be utilizing all of the different kinds of proteins and amino acids available for your body.
